Assistant Store Manager - Dallas Galleria
About The Position
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in building a team that delivers results through an excellent customer experience. You share responsibility for executing store operations and maintaining a visually appealing store, while creating a positive environment that develops and engages managers, associates, and customers. The role reports to the Store Manager. The position calls for an inspirational, engaging, and self-motivated leader who guides the team, attracts talent, works collaboratively, demonstrates a competitive spirit, manages competing priorities with urgency, adapts to change, and seeks personal growth and development. The pay range is USD $15.00 to $20.50 per hour. The role may require occasional travel to other store locations, if needed. Requirements
- Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs., as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years as a co-manager or assistant manager in an apparel business of similar volume.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other store locations, if needed.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans that achieve results and grow the business.
- Demonstrate product knowledge, selling skills, and operational skills to maximize sales.
- Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
- Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members who are committed to creating a great customer experience.
- Oversee an assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
- Support the Store Manager in consistently meeting store merchandising and operations standards.
- Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
- Remain composed when facing challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
- Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions when the Store Manager is absent.
