About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in building and developing a results-driven team, delivering an excellent customer experience, executing store operations, and maintaining a visually appealing store. The role fosters a positive environment for managers, associates, and customers and contributes to sales and business growth. The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in an apparel business of similar volume.
• A proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Ability to occasionally travel to other store locations, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans that achieve results and grow the business.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, selling skills, and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage customers and build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members who are committed to creating a great customer experience.
• Oversee an assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
• Support the Store Manager in consistently meeting merchandising and operational standards.
• Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive it forward.
• Remain composed when facing challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions when the Store Manager is absent.
