About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales while providing excellent customer service. Working at a retail partner store location, this role collaborates with retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, promotes Acima's leasing benefits, and drives customer conversions. The role is paid hourly at $14.45–$16.49 per hour and may be eligible for performance-based bonuses or incentives, paid monthly. The position is full-time. Workdays and hours vary across Monday through Sunday and include evenings and weekends.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Consistent in-person attendance.

Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices.

Responsibilities

Drive customer growth through web, partner stores, and walk-ins.
Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
Explain Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process.
Convert applications and close sales for in-store and web orders.
Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
Promptly address and resolve customer issues and complaints.
Help cultivate a positive work environment that supports coworker retention and minimizes workplace issues.
