Acima Assistant Store Manager - Bilingual Preferred
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with account management and sales activities while providing excellent customer service. The role works with Acima retail partners to process credit turn-down applications and web orders and convert them into Acima Leasing customers. The Assistant Store Manager reviews lease applications, promotes Acima's leasing benefits, and drives conversions. Work is performed at a retail partner store location. The position is paid hourly and may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses or incentives. The stated compensation is $13.73 to $15.67 per hour, plus a potential monthly bonus. The role is full-time, with working days and hours varying across Monday through Sunday and including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Consistent in-person attendance.

Responsibilities
- Drive customer growth through web channels, partner stores, and walk-ins.
- Listen to customers, identify their needs, and fulfill them in a timely manner.
- Explain Lease-To-Own terms, payment terms, benefits, and the application process from beginning to end.
- Convert applications, including in-store and web orders, to close the sales cycle.
- Work cooperatively with Acima partner stores across operational activities.
- Report and communicate store and coworker activities and performance to the Store Manager.
- Build partnerships with retail store personnel to generate referrals and educate customers about the Lease-To-Own process.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and friendly service.
- Cultivate a positive work environment to support coworker retention and minimize turnover and issues.
