About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager acts as the Store Manager’s partner in the overall merchandising, sales, and management of the assigned retail store. The role is responsible for overall sales and expenses and for providing the highest level of customer service. The pay range is $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall sales and expenses at the assigned retail store.
• Direct and coordinate product merchandising.
• Set priorities for distributing new merchandise throughout the retail store.
• Ensure adequate inventory in all areas.
• Assist customers with purchases, returns, special orders, complaints, and other needs.
• Work closely with Retail Buyers to communicate product needs and information throughout the assigned store.
• Ensure employees and customers practice safety when handling merchandise.
• Delegate authority to managerial personnel as appropriate.
