About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager in the overall merchandising, sales, and management of the assigned retail store. The role is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service. Pay range: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall sales and expenses at the assigned retail store.
• Direct and coordinate the merchandising of products.
• Set priorities for distribution of new merchandise throughout the retail store.
• Ensure adequate inventory in all areas.
• Assist customers with purchases, returns, special orders, complaints, and other needs.
• Work closely with Retail Buyers to maintain awareness of product needs and other product information throughout the assigned retail store.
• Ensure employees and customers practice safety when handling merchandise.
• Delegate authority to managerial personnel as deemed appropriate.
