About The Position
A residential apartment/hallway cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in apartment units and hallways. The work may involve cleaning one or more units on a regular basis and can be performed independently. The cleaner typically uses various cleaning supplies and tools and may use eco-friendly products based on client preferences.
Responsibilities
- Dust surfaces such as shelves, countertops, ceiling fans, and kitchen cabinets.
- Sweep floors to remove dirt and debris.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and other fabric surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and pet hair.
- Mop hard floors, including tile, wood, and laminate, using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Wash windows and mirrors to remove smudges, dirt, and fingerprints.
- Wipe down kitchen counters, clean appliances such as ovens, microwaves, and refrigerators, and sanitize sinks.
- Scrub toilets, sinks, tubs, and showers; wipe bathroom counters; and clean mirrors.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners.
- Tidy and declutter spaces as needed.
- Clean apartment units and hallways on a regular basis.
