About The Position

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store leadership and help build a successful culture of sales and performance. The role supports team selling, recruitment, associate training and coaching, goal setting, employee relations, P&L analysis, company initiatives, merchandising, and store safety and security.

Requirements

Retail experience.
Prior management experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with store leadership to drive a successful culture of sales and performance.
Support a team selling environment.
Participate in all areas of store recruitment.
Teach, coach, and train store associates within an established timeframe.
Help create reachable but high goals for yourself and associates, and ensure the store has the staffing levels needed to achieve total store goals.
Handle employee relations issues within the store in the Store Manager’s absence.
Participate in analysis of the P&L.
Lead change for associates and champion company initiatives.
Ensure products are merchandised properly according to company directives.
Ensure the safety and security of associates and customers.
