About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in delivering positive outcomes for customers and team members. Working closely with the Store Manager, the role helps understand daily, weekly, and monthly store priorities; assigns projects and tasks to Key Holders and Sales Associates; and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures. The position requires a passion for fashion and trends, the ability to drive sales, stock, and service delivery, and the ability to support merchandising and visual merchandising standards. This is a full-time, hourly paid position.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail management experience.
- At least 1 year of experience inspiring and managing diverse, high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability and acumen in driving sales, stock, and service delivery.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising practices.
- Ability to execute visual merchandising directives and deliver visual merchandising standards with the team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Outstanding communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Ability to move around the store throughout the shift or workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to regularly squat and kneel.
- Ability to safely use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform.
