About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager helps supervise day-to-day convenience store operations and supports team-member retention and a welcoming, positive customer experience. This self-motivated, service-oriented individual is accountable for demonstrating Northdale’s culture of exceptional customer service and teamwork. The position is for the evening shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., at a brand-new location.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to problem-solve and multitask.
• Strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail management or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and motivating individuals.
• Supervise and communicate company policy.
• Assist in performing, implementing, and enforcing established daily operating procedures to ensure the store is clean, stocked, organized, and well kept.
• Assist with ordering, inventory management, and related tasks.
• Maintain quality brand image standards.
• Implement monthly promotions and ensure all point-of-sale materials are properly posted.
• Communicate merchandising problems, price-change requests, and equipment problems.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures, and report employee or customer incidents.
