About The Position
Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead the store team. The role focuses on maintaining daily attention to individual and team performance standards to achieve sales and profit projections, creating an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruiting and selecting team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and carries out other operational and strategic duties. The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills to support career development. The position requires retail experience, familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and basic computer hardware and software, the ability to interpret varied instructions, and availability for day, night, and weekend work.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
