About The Position

Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role supports achievement of individual and team standards, sales goals, and profit projections while helping create an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, participates in recruiting and selection, enforces company policies and procedures, and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career development, and values integrity, diversity, teamwork, and advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners.
• Ability to use basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members’ standards achievement.
