About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on achieving sales and productivity goals, developing team members, engaging customers, and fostering community relationships that support store growth. It also involves maintaining store operations and standards, including loss prevention, receipt processing, shelf availability, and product pricing. The position offers opportunities for leadership development, continuous learning, and professional growth.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at different locations depending on business needs.
Valid driver’s license.
Three to five years of retail experience.
Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
Ability to support the development of strong teams.
Passion for the health and wellness industry.

Responsibilities

Directly support the Store Manager and execute store priorities with excellence.
Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting team members in doing the same.
Assist with recruiting and developing talent.
Build external community relationships that help grow sales.
Lead with integrity and accountability.
Promote continuous education and support company training initiatives and ongoing learning activities.
Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts promptly, and keep shelves stocked and products correctly priced.
Perform additional duties as required.
