Sales - Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
Russell Cellular is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, develop team members, and help drive sales performance and operational excellence. The role combines active selling with oversight of daily store operations, coaching Wireless Specialists, and helping create a positive, high-performing team environment. The Assistant Store Manager serves as the acting leader when the Store Manager is absent. The position offers a $16.00-per-hour base rate plus uncapped commission; average earnings are stated as up to $22.00 per hour, with the opportunity for high performers to earn more through commissions.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a team of Wireless Specialists.
- Actively sell Verizon products and services while meeting individual sales goals.
- Reinforce sales behaviors, coach team members, and promote accountability to help drive store performance.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees.
- Conduct sales observations, performance coaching, and developmental training with team members.
- Assist with scheduling, reviewing timekeeping, and maintaining appropriate store coverage.
- Support inventory management, including receiving shipments, inventory counts, device security checks, and inventory audits.
- Help reconcile cash deposits and maintain accurate operational records.
- Assist with resolving escalated customer concerns and billing issues while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
- Serve as the acting leader in the Store Manager's absence.
