About The Position

Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and help achieve sales and profit projections. The role contributes to a strong customer experience, supports team member development through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selecting team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills, with opportunities for career development and advancement.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team member standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Participate in recruiting and selecting team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties.
