About The Position

Mizzen+Main is seeking a highly motivated, fashion-forward, and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to help lead its retail team. The role supports the Store Manager in day-to-day operations and helps drive store performance, deliver a world-class customer experience, and cultivate a positive and productive store culture. The Assistant Store Manager represents the brand with professionalism, product knowledge, and refined personal presentation, while modeling personalized service and supporting sales, service, and operational goals.

Requirements

1–3 years of retail or customer-facing experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and influence a team.
Proficiency using computers, tablets, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Detail orientation and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, and lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
Comfort climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods.

Prior leadership or assistant management experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Represent Mizzen+Main with professionalism, product knowledge, and refined personal presentation.
Deliver and model exceptional, personalized customer service to set team standards and build customer loyalty.
Stay informed about promotions, product launches, and in-store and online events to support a seamless customer journey.
Maintain a clean, inviting, and brand-aligned retail environment.
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to support satisfaction and retention.
Support the Store Manager with staffing, training, sales performance, and execution of store initiatives.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training sales associates and keyholders.
Coach team members daily and provide on-the-floor leadership to align the team with sales and service goals.
Support daily store operations, including opening and closing duties, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
Maintain an organized, efficient stockroom to support timely replenishment and product flow.
Assist with floor sets and visual displays in line with brand standards and seasonal initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Mizzen+Main operational policies and procedures.
