About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role helps manage and develop a team, supports merchandising and product launches, and works to meet and exceed sales objectives while delivering an exceptional customer experience with AT&T products and services. The position includes outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed, and coaching retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership development.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.
• Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Ability to use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
• Initiative and a focus on creating results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the store manager to oversee daily retail store operations.
• Help manage, develop, and coach a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
• Assist with merchandising and product launches.
• Help meet and exceed sales objectives and ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience.
• Perform outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
• Champion change, foster collaboration and teamwork, solve problems, analyze issues, and strive to achieve results.
