About The Position

The Assistant Retail Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operations of an AT&T retail store. The role assists with merchandising and product launches, helps meet and exceed sales objectives, and supports an extraordinary customer experience with AT&T products and services. The assistant manager coaches and develops retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals, and collaborates with stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store. Paid training is provided to support leadership development. The position is for a bilingual Spanish-English candidate; additional starting pay may be available for bilingual employees. The role is based at the Bronx, New York store and has a regular schedule of 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Ability to speak Spanish and English.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
• Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.
• Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Ability to use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
• Ability to take initiative and create results.
