Assistant Store Manager - Waterford Lakes (Orlando)
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with daily store operations and helps ensure strong performance across the operation. The role supports compliance with market-specific legal requirements, company policies, cleaning standards, and compliance structures. The Assistant Store Manager maintains an overview of the store and leads team members when the Store Manager is absent, supporting efficient workflows, high-quality products, and excellent guest experiences. Success depends on following operational and in-store requirements to deliver best-in-class guest experiences and build customer loyalty. The role also supports team leadership and development, guest relationships, health and safety, inventory processes, sales growth, profitability, and store performance targets.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of leadership experience with responsibility for team supervision, daily operations, and opening and closing procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build trust, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Ambition to grow into a people-focused leader and build a long-term career in management.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading team members in alignment with company principles and operational standards.
- Guide and support team members to foster a positive, high-performing store culture.
- Model leadership integrity by aligning actions and decisions with company principles.
- Support team development and motivation through coaching and in-store training.
- Contribute to initiatives that maintain or improve employee engagement.
- Encourage open communication and a collaborative team environment.
- Promote a guest-first mindset and build strong relationships with guests in the local community.
- Contribute to guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
- Enforce hygiene, cleaning, health, and safety standards in accordance with company guidelines.
- Ensure brand standards and local regulatory requirements are consistently upheld.
- Assist with stock handling, inventory counts, and ordering.
- Support inventory optimization to keep cost of goods sold within defined monthly targets.
- Support initiatives to drive sales growth and optimize store profitability.
- Assist in achieving company-defined financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Monitor performance metrics and escalate opportunities or risks to the Store Manager.
- Lead team members and support store operations when the Store Manager is not present.
