Assistant Store Manager - West Palm Beach
About The Position
Kurt Geiger is an inclusive, creative footwear and accessories brand inspired by the energy, diversity, and creativity of London. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in running the West Palm Beach store, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store and stockroom standards, and helping the team meet its performance goals. The role includes customer engagement, team training and development, visual merchandising, store operations, inventory support, and coordination with Head Office when the Store Manager is absent. The successful candidate is highly motivated, interested in fashion, target-driven, and able to work flexibly in a busy retail environment.
Requirements
- Customer service experience; retail experience is preferred.
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with an interest in fashion.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Able to interact with customers in a loud, often busy environment.
- Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive activities.
- Able to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Able to climb ladders and use a stepping stool.
- Flexible to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, understand their needs, and recommend products.
- Stay informed about products, trends, and promotions to provide current information to customers.
- Work toward the store’s visual merchandising guidelines.
- Train and develop team members, motivate the team, and serve as a role model for the brand.
- Maintain store standards, including back-of-house areas, and monitor store operations.
- Liaise with Head Office teams about business updates in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Monitor team KPIs daily and hold regular one-to-one meetings to manage and maintain performance.
- Support the Store Manager with store recruitment.
- Maintain personal and team presentation standards and comply with store health and safety regulations.
- Ensure products are correctly tagged with accurate pricing and product information.
- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Open and close the store and set up the cash register.
- Support inventory management and stockroom organization.
- Replenish the shop floor as needed.
- Communicate daily store and team needs to the Store Manager.
