About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Carriage Crossing store in Collierville, Tennessee. Management members oversee daily store operations, develop and lead employees, deliver excellent customer experiences, and help drive sales and company growth. The role involves sales and financial performance, inventory and merchandise management, store maintenance, compliance with company policies and safety regulations, local marketing, community engagement, and identifying operational improvements. The posting covers Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor positions. Assistant Store Managers must be available to work five days per week, with an average standard work week of 44 hours that may increase during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours. Both roles require availability during store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays. Employees need reliable transportation, clear spoken and written English, and the ability to perform business-related mathematics. Movement to other company locations may be required based on operational needs and career growth.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability during the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; a minimum standard work week of five days; and an average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; at least five days of availability; and a minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
Management roles require weekend and holiday availability, punctuality, and regular attendance in accordance with company policies.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and be able to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to move to different company locations based on operational needs and career growth.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred.
