About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Finish Line Macy’s store at Square One Mall in Saugus, Massachusetts. Members of Management oversee daily store operations, lead and develop a high-performance team, and provide exceptional customer experiences. The roles contribute to store sales, profitability, and company growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Assistant Store Managers must be available for a minimum standard work week of five days, averaging 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours. All management roles require availability on weekends and holidays, as well as during the morning, daytime, and nighttime hours needed to open and close the store.

The position involves prolonged standing, stocking and retrieving merchandise, and working in a moderately noisy retail setting. Employees may be asked to perform additional duties outside their normal scope. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
• Availability to work the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights.
• Assistant Store Manager: minimum standard work week of five days and an average standard work week of 44 hours; hours may increase during peak sales periods.
• Supervisor: minimum of five days of availability and a minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
• May need to move to different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
