About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Commerce II Outlet store in Commerce, Georgia. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while contributing to sales, profitability, and company growth. The role involves managing merchandising and inventory, budgets and expenses, store standards, local marketing, and community relationships. Managers are also expected to monitor industry trends, solve problems, and take on additional duties and projects as required. Assistant Store Managers must have open availability for store opening and closing hours, a minimum standard work week of five days, and an average standard work week of 44 hours. Hours may increase during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during opening and closing hours and have availability for at least five days per week, with a minimum standard work week of 30 hours. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and includes prolonged standing and other physical demands.

Requirements

Proven experience as a retail store manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and perform business-related mathematics.
Reliable transportation.
At least 18 years of age.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability, including mornings, days, and nights necessary to open and close the store; availability for at least five days per week; average 44-hour work week, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during mornings, days, and nights necessary to open and close the store; availability for at least five days per week; minimum 30-hour work week.
All management: availability on weekends and holidays, punctuality, and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
May need to move to different locations within the company's network based on operational needs and career growth.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, and regularly lifting 5–25 pounds; heavier lifting may sometimes be required.
Good vision, including the ability to differentiate colors.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
