About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Savannah Outlet store in Pooler, Georgia. Management members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop teams, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The position supports store sales and profitability, operational performance, financial management, local marketing, community relationships, and compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. The posting covers Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor roles, whose minimum weekly hours differ. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and includes flexible scheduling, weekends, holidays, and physical activity such as prolonged standing, stocking merchandise, and lifting.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability during hours needed to open and close the store; minimum standard work week of five days and an average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during hours needed to open and close the store and at least five days of availability; minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
Ability to meet the physical demands described, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting merchandise, and good vision including color differentiation.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 18 years old.
