About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Northpark Mall store in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Management members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role contributes to store sales, profitability, operational performance, and company growth. The posting covers Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor positions, with different availability and weekly-hour requirements for each. Assistant Store Managers must have open availability to support store opening and closing, a minimum standard work week of five days, and an average standard work week of 44 hours. Hours may increase during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during the hours needed to open and close the store and have at least five days of availability, with a minimum standard 30-hour work week. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays, maintain punctual and regular attendance, and have reliable transportation. Relocation to other company locations may be required based on operational needs and career growth. Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability, including mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; minimum standard work week of five days; average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; minimum of five days of availability; minimum standard 30-hour work week.
All management: availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policy; reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May be required to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED equivalent; the posting also permits an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
