About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Hanes Mall store in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver high-quality customer experiences. The role contributes to store sales, profitability, operational performance, and community engagement in a fast-paced retail environment. The posting describes openings for an Assistant Store Manager and a Supervisor. Assistant Store Managers must have open availability and work a minimum standard week of five days, averaging 44 hours, with hours increasing during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during the hours needed to open and close the store and have at least five days of availability, with a minimum standard 30-hour work week. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency with retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability, including mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; minimum standard work week of five days and average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum availability of five days and minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
All management: availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies; reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to communicate with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
Meet the stated physical demands, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, and regularly lifting 5–25 pounds; higher weights may be required in certain circumstances.
Good vision, including color differentiation.
