About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring retail management team members to manage daily store operations, lead and develop staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role contributes to store performance and company growth through sales leadership, operational oversight, financial management, and community engagement. The posting lists two positions: Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor, with different weekly availability and hours requirements. The Assistant Store Manager must have open availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; a minimum standard work week of five days; and an average standard work week of 44 hours, with additional hours during peak sales periods. The Supervisor must be available during store opening and closing hours, have at least five days of availability, and work a minimum standard of 30 hours per week. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.

Must have reliable transportation.
Must speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to relocate to different company locations based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail leadership experience, strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
