About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring store management team members for its Jefferson Mall location in Louisville, Kentucky. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver strong customer experiences while supporting store sales and company growth. The position includes responsibilities across team leadership, customer service, sales performance, merchandise and inventory management, store maintenance, financial oversight, local marketing, and operational improvement. Assistant Store Managers must be available to work the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights, and work a minimum standard five-day week. Their average standard work week is 44 hours, with longer hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during opening and closing hours and have at least five days of availability, with a minimum standard 30-hour work week. All management employees must be available on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a retail store manager or in a similar role, including a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum standard work week of five days.
Supervisor: availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; availability at least five days per week.
All management employees must be available on weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policy.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff; ability to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
