About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring store management team members for its Southern Park Mall location in Youngstown, Ohio. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, drive sales and profitability, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The roles include Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor, with different work-hour requirements and pay ranges. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and may involve moving to other company locations based on operational needs and career growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with retail management software and basic computer applications.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as required for opening and closing the store.
• Assistant Store Manager: open availability, a minimum standard work week of five days, and an average standard work week of 44 hours; hours may increase during peak sales periods.
• Supervisor: availability during store opening and closing hours and at least five days of availability; minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
• Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and perform business-related mathematics.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, and regularly lifting items weighing 5–25 pounds; heavier lifting may sometimes be required.
• Good vision, including color differentiation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
