About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Kennedy Mall store in Dubuque, Iowa. Management members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role supports sales, profitability, operational standards, financial performance, local marketing, and community engagement. The posting covers Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor positions, which have different minimum weekly availability and work-hour requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of meeting sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: Open availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; available at least five days per week; minimum standard workweek of five days and average standard workweek of 44 hours, with longer weeks during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: Availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; available at least five days per week; minimum standard workweek of 30 hours.
All management roles require weekend and holiday availability, punctuality and regular attendance, and reliable transportation.
Must speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to move to different locations within the company's network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
