About The Position

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters seeks an Associate Optometrist to work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist. The associate may work as an employee or contracted doctor. Luxottica operates the optical dispensary, while the affiliated doctor operates the doctor's office and provides optometric care and services to patients. Terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours are negotiated directly between the associate and the Subleasing Doctor.

The practice offers professional autonomy and a full scope of practice, subject to professional discretion and agreement with the Subleasing Doctor. Scheduling may be flexible, including part-time commitments or adding work to an existing practice schedule. Offices are furnished and equipped for optometric practice, with technical and pre-testing support available at many locations.

• Provide high-quality optometric care and service to patients.
• Operate within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist.
• Exercise professional discretion in providing a full scope of optometric practice, in agreement with the Subleasing Doctor.
