About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Richland Mall store in Waco, Texas. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while supporting store growth. The role includes responsibilities for sales performance, merchandise and inventory management, visual merchandising, budgets, local marketing, and compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. Managers may also be asked to perform additional duties or projects, and may need to move to different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth. Assistant Store Managers must be available to work at least five days per week, with an average standard work week of 44 hours that may increase during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours weekly. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays and during the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and involves prolonged standing and other physical activities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Availability for the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights.

Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred.
