About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Colonial Mall Lakeshore store in Gainesville, Georgia. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role contributes to store sales, profitability, operational performance, and the company’s growth. The posting describes requirements for both Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors, including different availability and weekly-hour expectations. Employees may also be asked to perform additional duties or projects as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must speak English clearly to converse with customers and effectively supervise staff.
Must be able to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Assistant Store Manager: Open availability, including mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; a minimum standard work week of 5 days; an average standard work week of 44 hours, with more hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: Availability during mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; at least 5 days of availability; a minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
All management: Availability on weekends and holidays.
May need to move to different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions.
