About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Perimeter Mall store in Dunwoody, Georgia. Management is responsible for daily store operations, developing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role contributes to store success through sales growth, operational execution, financial management, and community engagement. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to have open availability and work a minimum standard five-day week, averaging 44 hours and potentially more during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available for at least five days and work a minimum standard 30-hour week. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays. Schedules may include mornings, days, and nights to support opening and closing the store. This position involves prolonged standing, stocking and handling merchandise, and working in a moderately noisy retail setting. A high school diploma or GED is required, and candidates must be at least 18 years old. The company may require relocation to another company location based on operational needs and career growth.

Requirements

Proven experience as a retail store manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Managers must have open availability, including mornings, days, and nights as needed for opening and closing, and work a minimum standard five-day week.
Supervisors must be available during hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights, and have at least five days of availability.
All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays and maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Perform additional duties and projects as required.
