About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Colonial Mall store in Decatur, Alabama. As a member of store management, you will manage daily operations, lead and develop a high-performance team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Management roles include Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor, with role-specific availability and weekly-hour requirements. The position may require moving to different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required for opening and closing the store.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability, a minimum standard work week of 5 days, and an average standard work week of 44 hours; hours may increase during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during store opening and closing hours and a minimum of 5 days of availability; minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
