About The Position

The Assistant Site Manager works alongside the Site Manager to keep site operations running smoothly, develop team members, deliver a strong guest experience, solve problems in real time, and uphold site standards. The role is described as a development path toward becoming a Site Manager, with an emphasis on developing people and taking ownership of outcomes. The work takes place in a fast-paced, physically active, outdoor environment.

Requirements

Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead people and hold a team to a standard.
Ability to take ownership of outcomes and drive results.
Problem-solving ability, including diagnosing issues, making confident decisions, and following through.
Ability to develop and support others.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, physically active, outdoor environment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Assist with onboarding new team members and explaining company values, site procedures, and role expectations.
Guide and support team members, help identify training needs, and coordinate development opportunities.
Support scheduling and shift management to maintain adequate staffing and a fair workload.
Promote a positive team culture by recognizing achievements, encouraging collaboration, and addressing conflicts promptly.
Welcome customers and answer questions about services, memberships, and promotions.
Address customer concerns promptly and escalate them to the Site Leader when necessary.
Promote unlimited wash memberships and other services, and assist with upselling to support sales goals.
Monitor the site for opportunities to improve the customer experience and share feedback with the Site Leader.
Check equipment daily and report functionality issues to the Site Leader.
Follow safety protocols and help team members maintain safe work practices.
Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance to uphold quality standards.
Monitor supply inventory and communicate restocking needs to the Site Leader.
Identify operational challenges, suggest improvements, and make informed decisions to minimize disruptions.
Support site promotions and marketing initiatives.
Track sales activity and provide feedback to the Site Leader about revenue opportunities.
Collaborate with team members to address challenges and improve site performance.
