About The Position
Morgan Properties is hiring an Assistant Service Manager for Towson Crossing, a 465-unit apartment community in Baltimore, Maryland. The role helps the Service Manager keep the community safe, well maintained, and up to company standards by guiding the team through diagnosis, repairs, and make-ready work. The position includes a 24-hour on-call schedule, including for snow and ice emergencies.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of related experience or training, or a one-year certificate from a technical school or college.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own tools for on-site repairs.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, EPA/CFC, and/or CPO certification; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliance, and exterior issues.
- Build daily make-ready and work order schedules with the Service Manager and Property Manager.
- Complete service requests within 24 hours and inspect finished work against Morgan standards.
- Help manage maintenance inventory and identify cost-effective ways to order supplies.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call schedule, including for snow and ice emergencies.
