About The Position

National Security Consultants is seeking an Assistant Security Supervisor to support security efforts at a local retail center in Niles, Ohio. The role is responsible for facility safety and security, including the safety of staff, tenants, and guests. The Assistant Security Supervisor supervises and evaluates security personnel, supports recruitment and staff development in collaboration with the Security Manager and Regional Manager, helps ensure effective scheduling, and assists with weekly reporting. The position calls for effective communication, organizational skills, flexibility, sound prioritization and problem-solving, strategic thinking, and the ability to work well under pressure. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or management is preferred. Candidates must have a clean criminal background and be able to pass a drug screen. Requirements

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to be flexible, prioritize, manage multiple projects, and solve problems in a timely manner.
Strategic planning and thinking skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Clean criminal background and ability to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the safety and security of the facility, including staff, tenants, and guests.
