About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Minot, North Dakota. The role involves patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, remaining physically active throughout the shift, observing surroundings, anticipating risks, and responding appropriately. The officer helps protect people and property by monitoring sensitive areas, controlling access, responding to incidents, checking alarms and cameras, documenting activity, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.

Two schedules are offered: a full-time schedule of Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m.–1 a.m.; and Saturday, 12 p.m.–8 p.m.; or a part-time schedule Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m.–1 a.m. Pay is $19 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Hold a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
