About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The stated pay rate is $22.79 an hour.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs frequently in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations at a client site calmly and efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions: valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience; clean driving record as defined in the posting; required minimum insurance under company policy; and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
