About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services during an assigned shift at a customer site. The supervisor serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Responsibilities include supervising staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and the general public.
• Be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Be able to prepare written reports and logs frequently, using neat, legible handwriting.
• Be able to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions, have a valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, the minimum insurance required by company policy, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift.
• Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
