About The Position

Join a locally owned Great Clips salon team as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping stylists succeed. The role may suit a licensed stylist who is ready to grow into management or take on more responsibility while continuing to work behind the chair. The described opportunity is at a new salon opening in a busy Richmond shopping center anchored by Food Lion, with walk-in clients and built-in customer traffic.

The role offers an effective wage of $25–$32+ per hour, reliable hourly pay plus tips, and opportunities to earn sign-on, referral, leadership, productivity, and other bonuses. The salon provides a team-oriented environment, training and development through Great Clips University (GCU), one-on-one technical coaching, and opportunities for career growth and promotion. Requirements

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License; requirements vary by state or province.
• Strong technical haircutting skills.
