About The Position

Monarch Investment is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Fox Run Apartments in Wichita, Kansas. The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager with on-site operations, resident relations, leasing, renewals, and marketing. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and every third Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour, based on experience, with eligibility for Monarch’s commission structure. Employment is subject to pre-employment criminal background, drug, and credit screenings.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in an assistant manager or manager role.
Experience in the multifamily housing industry.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Customer service experience.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking abilities.

Nice To Haves

Sales experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the Property Manager with all on-site property operations.
Help ensure tenant renewals are captured at the highest rate possible.
Build and maintain a resident relations program.
Show and lease apartments to help keep the property at or above market occupancy and at proper rent levels.
Assist the Property Manager in ensuring property marketing is current, accurate, and effective.
