Assistant Property Manager
About The Position
HHHunt is hiring an Assistant Property Manager for its Abberly Crossing apartments. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining a high-quality home for residents while supporting HHHunt’s mission to improve the world and how people live through meaningful experiences and distinctive places. The position oversees aspects of a multi-million-dollar property asset, the budget, hiring and training, resident needs, and the daily needs of the team. The Assistant Property Manager is expected to lead by example, mentor and develop team members, solve problems effectively, analyze financial performance, and build connections with the community. The role requires managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and includes some weekend work.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in the multifamily industry, including leadership experience.
- Expert time-management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage budgets and analyze results.
- Availability for some weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Maximize net operating income (NOI) by maximizing rents and occupancy, controlling availability, and managing expenses.
- Review leasing performance and customer surveys, and ensure the grounds, amenities, and office are ready to impress customers.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members.
- Listen to residents and teammates and work to provide an exceptional resident experience.
- Manage multiple priorities under pressure while supporting the team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Oversee the property asset, budget, hiring and training, customer needs and challenges, and daily team needs.
- Analyze financial performance and identify ways to increase revenue and minimize expenses.
- Follow up on customer issues and commitments.
- Look for opportunities to celebrate team and community successes and engage with community needs.
