About The Position

Monarch Investment is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Fox Run Apartments in Wichita, Kansas. The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager with on-site property operations, resident relations, leasing, renewals, and property marketing. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., plus every third Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pay is $20–$22 per hour based on experience, and the position is eligible for Monarch’s commission structure. Pre-employment screenings include a criminal background check, drug screening, and credit review.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in an assistant manager or manager role.
Experience in the multifamily housing industry.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Customer service experience.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multitasking abilities.

Nice To Haves

Sales experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the Property Manager with all on-site property operations.
Help ensure tenant renewals are captured at the highest rate possible.
Build and maintain a resident relations program.
Show and lease apartments to keep the property leased at or above market occupancy and at proper rent levels.
Assist the Property Manager in ensuring property marketing is current, accurate, and effective.
