About The Position

Habitat America is hiring a full-time Assistant Property Manager for The Residences at Forest Glen, a newly constructed 100% Tax Credit community in Silver Spring, Maryland. The community has completed its initial lease-up. The Assistant Property Manager must be able to assume the Property Manager’s responsibilities in their absence and should bring strong customer service, communication, and attention-to-detail skills. Candidates must have at least three years of prior property management Tax Credit experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Property Manager. TCS certification is a plus.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of prior property management experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Property Manager.
• At least 3 years of Tax Credit experience.
• Experience planning resident events and newsletters.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail for the physical property and required Tax Credit paperwork.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead a team while being part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• TCS certification.
• Yardi software experience is strongly preferred.
