About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support operations at Indian Woods Apartments, a 202-unit conventional multifamily community in Evansville, Indiana. This is a full-time, on-site role. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a midweek compensatory day off. Compensation is $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with commission potential through Monarch’s commission structure. The role requires pre-employment criminal background, drug, and credit checks, as well as a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in multifamily housing.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to navigate industry software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background, drug, and credit screenings.

Nice To Haves

Experience with YARDI software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Property Manager with all on-site property operations.
Help capture tenant renewals at the highest rate possible.
Build and maintain a resident relations program.
Show and lease apartments when the leasing agent is unavailable, helping keep the property at or above market occupancy and at proper rent levels.
Assist the Property Manager in ensuring property marketing is current, accurate, and effective.
