About The Position
The School of Graduate Studies in the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in aviation operations, air transportation systems, and machine learning/AI. This role involves teaching at both doctoral and master's levels, chairing dissertation and thesis committees, and maintaining scholarly growth through publishing, research, and conference presentations. Service responsibilities to the university and profession are also expected. The position is located on the Daytona Beach campus, requiring instruction in both traditional and online formats. Requirements
- Doctorate degree.
- Relevant experience in aviation operations, air transportation, or related areas.

Responsibilities
- Teach courses at both the doctoral and master's levels.
- Chair Ph.D. dissertation and/or master's thesis committees.
- Meet ongoing scholarly growth requirements, including publishing scholarly work.
- Actively pursue and obtain externally funded research.
- Present work at professional conferences.
- Fulfill service responsibilities to the university and the profession.
- Provide instruction in both traditional classroom formats and online formats as appropriate.
