Tenure Track Faculty Position with a focus on Big Data Analytics and Aviation Safety in the School of Graduate Studies, Daytona Beach Campus
About The Position
The School of Graduate Studies in the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. This role has a strong preference for candidates with expertise in big data analytics, aviation safety, and machine learning/AI. The position is located on the Daytona Beach campus. The candidate will be responsible for teaching courses at both the doctoral and master's levels, chairing Ph.D. dissertation and/or master’s thesis committees, and providing instruction in both traditional classroom and online formats. The typical teaching load is 2 to 3 courses per semester. In addition to teaching, the candidate must meet ongoing scholarly growth requirements, including publishing scholarly work, securing externally funded research, and presenting at professional conferences. Service responsibilities to the university and the profession are also expected.
Requirements
- A doctorate.
- Relevant experience in aviation safety, big data analytics, or ML/AI.
