About The Position
The Business & Enterprise Division at The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown invites applications for one full-time Assistant Professor position in Management. The appointment may be tenure track, depending upon credentials. Priority will be given to applicants with backgrounds in business strategy, operations, logistics, supply chain, and/or project management.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline from an accredited university (ABD candidates with a clear completion timeline will be considered)
- Curriculum vitae
- Statement of teaching philosophy
- Detailed letter of interest indicating academic credentials, relevant managerial and/or professional expertise, and any prior teaching experience
- Most recent two semesters of teaching evaluations
- A recent refereed journal publication
- Contact information for three professional references
Nice To Haves
- Backgrounds in business strategy, operations, logistics, supply chain, and/or project management
- Availability to teach day and evening classes
Responsibilities
- Teach a 4+4 teaching load
- Maintain an active research agenda/portfolio
